The roof above Wingspread's Great Hall is arguably the most iconic part of the house. I knew when I first started this project that I would have trouble getting this section just right. With 8 different angles coming together into the oblong chimney and crow's nest, this was one of the most challenging areas to get right. The rounded ends of the chimney proved quite difficult, given LEGO's limited selection of curved dark orange pieces. As a result I ended up with some very strange geometry inside to hold it all together. I'm quite happy with the end product, though.
With this out of the way, I look forward to completing the remaining walls so I can get the rest of the roof up!
